Nigel has been the Member of Parliament for Droitwich and Evesham since 2015. From 2020-2022, Nigel served as the Minister for Sport, Tourism, Heritage and Civil Society in Boris Johnson’s Government.

In July 2025, Nigel was appointed Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, reflecting his dedication to promoting sport at every level. In this role, Nigel is committed to championing the vital role that sport plays in our national life, from improving physical and mental health, to strengthening communities and driving economic growth.

As Chair of Conservatives in Sport, Nigel’s extensive knowledge of UK sport policy will guide the direction and priorities of Conservatives in Sport.

Caroline has been the Conservative Member of Parliament for Gosport since 2010. She was a Minister from 2015-2021, including the Minister for Digital and Culture in the Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport. 

In 2023 Caroline was elected as Chair of the Culture, Media, and Sport Committee, and returned to the role after the 2024 General Election.  In that role she has chaired Committee inquiries including into British Film and High-End TV, Grassroots Music Venues, and Community and School Sport.

As Vice Chair of Conservatives in Sport, Caroline works alongside our Chair, ensuring the UK’s sports sector stays at the top of its game.

Louie has served as the Member of Parliament for Old Bexley and Sidcup since 2021 and has been the Shadow Minister for Sport since July 2024.

Louie has always been passionate about sport, having played football, rugby union, and rugby league to a competitive level in his younger years. Now, he enjoys both playing and watching sport socially — especially local teams within his constituency — and is a strong advocate for the benefits of sport in Parliament.

Stuart has been the Member of Parliament for Daventry since July 2024, following his tenure as MP for Pudsey from 2010 until the seat was abolished in the 2024 Boundary Review.

In August 2023, Stuart launched the ‘Get Active’ initiative to help 3.5 million more people get active by 2030 through government collaboration with former athletes, health professionals, and fitness experts.

As of July 2025, Stuart serves as Shadow Secretary of State for Health and Social Care where he continues to champion sport as a vital tool for improving public health, promoting wellbeing and fostering stronger communities across the UK.

Ben coordinates Conservatives in Sport’s work in Westminster. He’s a senior parliamentary assistant, running the office of a Conservative MP and voluntarily supporting the Shadow Culture, Media and Sport team on sports policy. Prior to this, he worked for a senior Government Minister.

Alongside his parliamentary work, Ben is a high achieving rugby union match official and a member of the RFU’s Professional Game Match Official Team. Through his experience in Parliament and elite sport, Ben understands the importance of bringing policymakers, industry leaders, grassroots clubs and sporting professionals together.

Gabby is an Associate Consultant at NorthPoint Strategy, where she works across a variety of accounts, specialising in preparing client-ready research and conducting political and media monitoring.

Before working as a consultant, Gabby studied at the University of Exeter, where she was a member of the university's BUCS Netball team as well a a student umpire for the club’s intramural games.

Gabby is a keen runner and enjoys taking part in the Parkrun every Saturday morning.

James is a Director at NorthPoint Strategy where he specialises in running political campaigns, having previously navigated a complex legal and political landscape while representing a high-profile bidder in the acquisition of Chelsea Football Club.

Prior to moving into consultancy, James served as an advisor to a Conservative MP, gaining a deep understanding of parliamentary process and the intricacies of how Westminster and Whitehall operate. James uses this knowledge to help clients at NorthPoint Strategy navigate the complexities of UK politics, helping drive real change through constructive and impactful engagement.

A passionate cricketer, James can often be found during the summer months watching test or county cricket at Lord’s or the Oval.

Will is a Director at NorthPoint Strategy where he specialises in assisting clients in traversing policy challenges in Westminster and Whitehall.

Prior to consultancy, Will worked in Westminster for a number of years for an MP and Senior Government Minister with a focus on the world of sport. Will organised the Inter Parliamentary Cricket World Cup (IPCWC) which brought together parliamentary cricket teams from around the world including Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, in the first tournament of its kind. The tournament facilitated diplomacy between a number of these nations.

Will is passionate about sport and plays football and cricket, and enjoys marathon running.
